Controls & Shortcuts

This page is the fast lookup version of the controls you will use most often across the desktop app, CLI, and ring-enabled workflows.

Core control surfaces

• Wake word: default trigger phrase is Gestura.
• Push-to-talk / global hotkey: default docs example uses Ctrl+Space.
• Chat mode: use typed interaction when you need precision or silence.
• Ring gestures: optional control surface when Haptic Harmony is connected.

When to prefer each control

• Use the wake word for fluid, hands-free work.
• Use push-to-talk when you need tighter activation control.
• Use chat mode when you are pasting context or need exact text.
• Use ring gestures for discreet control and silent confirmation.
