- Memory bank
- Durable stored context that can preserve useful information beyond the live session window.
- Reflection / ERL
- An optional ERL-inspired feature that helps Gestura analyze weak turns, generate corrective strategies, and sometimes reuse those lessons later.
- Permission level
- The trust mode that determines whether Gestura can act autonomously or must pause for confirmation.
- MCP
- Model Context Protocol, the extension mechanism Gestura uses to connect external tools and services.
- Provider
- The speech or language model service Gestura uses for recognition, synthesis, or reasoning.
- Project instructions
- Local guidance files or configuration that shape how Gestura behaves inside a project or working directory.
- Haptic feedback
- Tactile confirmation delivered through Haptic Harmony instead of or alongside sounds and desktop notifications.
- Compaction
- The process of reducing older session context so long-running conversations stay useful and affordable.
